EXCELLENTBased on 102 reviewsVerifiedSamantha M2024-02-13Best Diving in Cozumel Caribbean Divers was our groups (Scuba.com travel group) charter and guide to diving Cozumel for a week. Owner Cesar, his dive master Manolo, Captain Wacho, and First Mate George were amazing the entire week. Cesar gave thoughtful and safety minded dive briefings prior to every dive. Both he and Manolo worked hard to keep the group diving safely while Wacho and George made sure exit and entry onto the boat was as smooth and safe as possible. Cesar and Manolo took special care to point out things that would likely have been missed during our dives. Manolo was exceptionally knowledgeable about the reef and ocean life and helped to make the whole experience come alive in deeper and more meaningful way. Having these experts share their knowledge helped make what we saw while underwater all the more special. First Mate George was always there to help me up the ladder and to and from my seat so that I felt safe with all my gear. During our surface interval on two different days we saw giant sea turtle and a pod of dolphins. Captain Wacho was quick to maneuver the boat so we had the best views possible. As an added bonus, we had yummy sandwiches, trail mix and fruit options along with ice cold drinks to replenish between dives. What a spectacular week!Verifiedgoodcrchick2024-01-07Cozumel diving never disappoints. Friendly, professional staff. Beautiful days diving with tons of sea life. We were recommended by a friend of a friend to dive with Cesar and his crew. Glad we did. Fun times.VerifiedSergSeum2022-10-30Dishonest people. Not a “great experience”. I didn’t enjoy it. The experience wasn’t what we paid for. The owner of the “school” (agency) sold me something: a 5 hours trip with food included (including 2x 1h boat trip and to reach the reefs and 2 dives of one hour each). It actually was: no food provided, only 1h30 diving and a 6 minutes boat trip! We were literally 3min away from the marina, very close to the huge cruiser boats (that we could hear very loudly during the dive) when it was supposed to be 1hour away from the marina. When I reached out to the owner to say that it wasn’t normal, he answered that he was very happy with the service provided and information that he should have told me before the dive like it was obvious information. Also the staff wasn’t friendly at all. The instructor was professional though and I felt safe during the dive. Ps: you have to pay 20USD to get the pictures of the activity. Dishonest person, I don’t recommend it at all!!VerifiedPaloma P2022-07-19Una experiencia maravillosa Una experiencia inolvidable, soy buzo certificada y fue mi primera vez buceando en el caribe. Gran ambiente !! Queres bucear en Cozumel !! Ya sabes donde !!VerifiedBarbara J2022-01-09Best dive shop in Cozumel Excellent service. First dive for my daughter and first in many years for me. We felt very safe. Ceasar and his crew were great instructors, very professional and friendly. They choose beautiful spots on the reef. We had a couple great dives!VerifiedJonathan2021-04-21Most beautiful dive experience I've made 5 dives (one was a nightdive) with Cesar and his crew from Caribbean Divers. All of the dives have been a big pleasure and great experience to me, especially the nightdive. I'm so happy that i've choosen them for diving. The reasons for this good experience were: - The Crew was very friendly and helpful with all my needs. They speak english. - The boat is very comfortable, has a lot of space, a toilet and you even can relax and warm up on the roof between dives. - Cesar made me feel very safe at all times: before, during and after the dives and also explained a lot about the marinelife. - the price is very good and you get a lot for what you pay for. There are no hidden charges. - On top of all, Cesar sent me photos, which he took during the dives with his professional camera (the best photos i've ever had from my dives). He didn't charge anything for the photos (even they would be worth 50USD or more). Hint: Just tip the crew, as it's usual when you go diving, and you will get that extra service :-) I can definitely recommend Caribbean Divers to everyone and i'm sure when I return to Cozumel I'm gonna choose them again for diving. By the way, Cesar also runs the "Carlota Guest House" in Cozumel, which is a great place to stay on the island. Thanks a lot to all of them.VerifiedMatilde2021-04-14Plongée inoubliable Une organisation parfaite et une première expérience de plongée mémorable en tous points. Un très bon enseignement de la plongée pour débutants et de merveilleuses découvertes des fonds marins.VerifiedTerry A2021-03-20Outstanding Dive Operation What a crew--use the word you want: outstanding, fabulous, professional, safety, knowledgeable, friendly, personable, happy and friendly.... Your experience won't be a scuba cattle car. Cezar Zepeda has owned this wonderful gem since the 1990s, and for the most part kept the same fine crew. We first went diving with them in 1998--and again this March 2021. We have almost 1,000 dives, all over the world. Twice a year with Cezar--says it all. We keep coming back. You answer why. Cezar and his crew--Ruben, Captain Huacho, and others--are great. Our highest recommendation to a company and crew who earns our praise every dive day.VerifiedRussell B2021-03-17SAFETY, SERVICE, EXPERIENCE, & COMMITMENT TO YOUR VACATION. SAFETY. SERVICE. EXPERIENCE. COMMITMENT TO YOUR VACATION.....I cannot say enough about Cesar Zepada and his famous crew. I have been diving in Cozumel for 8 years and when I began, I was like most people and just went with whatever shop either had the resort contract or contracted with the cruises ship. BIG MISTAKE. Fortunately, someone turned me on the Carribean Divers. Cesar has a large boat that provides plenty of room to move around, change in and our of dive gear, and not feel like a sardine squished into a can. The boat has a large upper sun deck, so you can get some rays on your ride out to the reefs or just enjoy the beautiful views. The boat also has a walk-in head with full toilet. The ladies in your group will have privacy if they need to use the facilities while on board. Cesar and his crew are flexible to your schedule. In other words, if the majority of the divers want to go early - - you go early - - wanna sleep late - - They can leave at 9:00. Get to know your fellow divers on the boat and make a common plan. Carribean Divers does a great job at trying accommodate you and insure you have the best vacation possible. I am a Master Diver and am very safety conscious. No worries here....Cesar and his dive masters will thoroughly brief you on the dive plan and they take the time to understand the different needs and skill levels of the divers on-board. While some boats will throw you some crackers or a piece of fruit, Cesar's crew makes everyone the best sandwiches you have ever had. This recent trip, Cesar brought some delicious pulled pork. The following day we dove very early and he provided us with homemade cinnamon rolls. Unless weather or other conditions dictate, you and your fellow divers get to decide where you want to dive - - not some pre-existing rigid schedule. Cesar and his staff know the reefs like like the back of their hands. You will see incredible sights that other mainstream dive operators will not take the time to show you. Every trip I take, I find myself diving with familiar faces because Carribean Divers has such strong repeat client base. IF you are coming to the island, please take my advice and book your trip with these guys. You will be hooked and this will become your regular dive boat.
